This is my new baby sister. Her name is Leilani Promise. She is amazing and adorable. I'm going to tell you how she came into our lives. Well, first of all she came when we didn't expect she would come. Let me start at the beginning and what we were doing that very day. Mom went to a doctor's appointment and we all came with her. It was quick and we didn't have to wait very long. Then we went home, had lunch, and then we went to the hospital so we could know where to go and where to park. Sort of like a fire drill. After that we went to an ultra sound to see how the baby was doing. We went home and Mom was making Creamy Chicken Soup and focaccia bread. While Mommy was rolling out the dough she started having contractions. Mommy wanted us to finish eating dinner before we left for the hospital. We were gulping down our soup, got everything packed up and we were out the door. My sisters and I were super excited. We couldn't believe the baby was coming! Once we got inside the hospital Mommy and Daddy left to a room and my sisters and I stayed in the waiting room. We brought lots of stuff to do while we waited. It was only about a half an hour until the lady at the desk asked us what our Mom's name was. We said April and she said our baby sister was born a few minutes earlier and our Dad was going to come and get us soon. We were so excited we could hardly wait to see her. When Daddy got us we called our Grandpas and Grandmas and told them that our baby was born. We went in and held her and got to help give Leilani her first bath. And that is how Leilani Promise came into our lives.
